WELCOME TO RED HOOK VFW POST 7765

Still Serving - No One Serves Veterans Better
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan, Korea, Vietnam, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

Join Senator Michelle Hinchey for her Veterans & Military Families Resource Fair in Rhinebeck

Dear Neighbor,

My office is partnering with American Legion Post 429 to host a Veterans & Military Families Resource Fair in Rhinebeck on Friday, May 30th, and we’d love for you to join us or help spread the word to a veteran in your life who might benefit!

My office has hosted veterans resource fairs regularly over the years to make sure our local veterans and military families, who have sacrificed so much for all of us, have easy access to the support they’ve earned.

We’ll have local organizations, service providers, and government agencies all in one place to connect with those interested in learning what’s available.

Here are the details:
🕙 Friday, May 30th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
📍 American Legion Post 429 — 6361 Mill Street, Rhinebeck
📱Organizations interested in offering their services at our fair can call our office at 845-331-3810 or email hinchey@nysenate.gov

Our growing list of partner organizations includes:

Institute for Family Health
Dutchess Community College
Vassar College
Dutchess Outreach
Traveling Therapy Pigs
New York State Office of Mental Health
…AND notary services from our Senate office!

If you or someone you know is a veteran, currently serving, or part of a military family, we hope to see you there!

Yours in service,
Senator Michelle Hinchey

Capital Fund Campaign (Click for full article)

Over the past months a committee was formed to restructure and kick off our capital fund campaign. After receiving feedback from local leaders regarding the original campaign goals, we have revised the goals of the campaign. The original goal was $1.5 million. After careful review of all the categories, securing bids, and planning for what best serves our long-term goals we were able to reduce the amount of the goal from $1.5 million to $715,379.
